These pictures show some of the destruction that happened the night of the broken glass. The buildings are synagogues( Jewish churches) which burned , the rooms are a jewish home, then it’s storefronts with broken windows. The jews were then forced to clean it up.
The man on the left, Ernst Vom Rath, a nazi soldier who was then shot by the young teenager on the right, Herschel Grynszpan, started the Kristallnacht.
This video is a man that survived the kristallnacht and holocaust, he talks about his experiences and memories.
These pictures of all the men, women, and children show them being deported to concentration camps.
